EPIDERMA bioactive balm for psoriasis leaves the skin pleasantly supple and helps relieve the feeling of itching on dry and flaky skin. Besides soothing, it also supports skin regeneration and its healthy appearance. The basic programme also includes the bioactive cream for psoriasis.

How is the balm used?
Apply over the whole area of dry and irritated skin so that it always stays hydrated. Even several times a day.
Epiderma bioactive cream for psoriasis
The special dermocosmetics EPIDERMA cream for psoriasis contains an original formula with urea and salicylic acid, which helps soften dry and thickened areas and supports the gentle removal of flakes.
Another component is the new-generation dermatological composition Betuldiol®, which helps relieve the feeling of itching and tightness and restores pleasant suppleness to the skin. Besides soothing, it also supports skin regeneration and its healthy appearance.

How is the cream used?
First treat the areas of skin with the Epiderma balm for psoriasis. On more pronounced areas apply the Epiderma psoriasis cream as a second layer. The cream contains salicylic acid and retinyl palmitate, which may increase the skin's sensitivity to sunlight – protect the treated areas from intense sun and from sunbeds. Apply the cream to the skin twice a day or as needed when the skin feels dry and tight. Consult your dermatologist about any combination with phototherapy.
Epiderma bioactive shampoo for psoriasis
The special dermocosmetics EPIDERMA in shampoo form soothe irritated scalp prone to signs of psoriasis. The formula contains the new-generation dermatological composition Betuldiol® and modern non-irritating conditioners.
EPIDERMA shampoo helps relieve the feeling of itching and reduce the formation of flakes and dandruff on the scalp, both with psoriasis and with seborrhoea. A pleasant bonus is added hair volume.

How is the shampoo used?
Apply an appropriate amount of shampoo to wet hair. Gently work it into a lather, leave the shampoo on for 5 to 10 minutes and rinse thoroughly. Use is not recommended for children under 3 years of age.

The programme contains three products with the shared Betuldiol® composition: the bioactive balm for psoriasis (300 ml), the bioactive cream for psoriasis (75 ml) and the bioactive shampoo for psoriasis (200 ml).

Wash the scalp with the bioactive shampoo – apply to wet hair, leave on for 5 to 10 minutes and rinse thoroughly. Apply the bioactive balm over the whole body, even several times a day.
On more pronounced areas apply the bioactive cream as a second layer. You will find specific instructions for each product on its product page.

The 300 ml balm is designed for broad daily care of larger areas of the body and keeps the skin hydrated. The 75 ml cream additionally contains urea and salicylic acid, which help soften dry and thickened areas.
They work best together: first the balm over the whole area, then the cream as a second layer on selected spots.

Betuldiol® is an original dermatological composition of bioactive plant substances developed by the founder of the EPIDERMA brand, MUDr. Jiří Skalický. One of its characteristic ingredients is betulin, a natural substance from birch bark.

The programme is intended for dry and sensitive skin prone to signs of psoriasis and seborrhoeic dermatitis, including the scalp. All EPIDERMA cosmetic products are dermatologically tested.
The cream and the shampoo contain salicylic acid, so they are not recommended for children under 3 years of age. The products contain fragrance; for very sensitive skin we recommend testing on a small area first.

No. Psoriasis is not contagious – it cannot be passed from person to person by touch or in any other way.
It is related to a reaction of the immune system and hereditary predisposition. Always consult your dermatologist about how to proceed.

EPIDERMA cosmetics can be used as complementary daily care alongside care prescribed by a dermatologist. Apply them separately – let the prescribed product absorb first and only then apply the balm or the cream.
Never stop or change prescribed products without consulting your doctor. Cosmetics do not replace them. Because the cream contains retinyl palmitate, consult your dermatologist about the suitability of using them together.
