EPIDERMA® bioactive micellar water for acne
Micellar water is the essential first step in the daily care of acne-prone skin and provides a thorough cleanse for problematic skin. It contains micelles that lift impurities from the skin and remove excess sebum from the pores, and thanks to Betuldiol® it cleanses and soothes the skin in one sweep. To reinforce all these effects, white willow bark extract – a natural source of salicin that helps keep the pores clear and tones the skin well – has been added to the formula. The ideal complement is the EPIDERMA® bioactive cream for acne – the micellar water prepares the skin, the cream completes the care.
It also impresses with its generous 300 ml size, which lasts for many weeks with daily morning and evening use. After cleansing, the skin stays fresh, hydrated and free of tightness – which is why the water also suits sensitive skin that does not tolerate harsh cleansers.

How is the bioactive micellar water used?
Apply at least twice a day with a cotton pad to the face and eye area. Do not rinse the micellar water off. For complete care, follow with the bioactive cream for acne.

The base is the original dermatological composition Betuldiol® with birch bark extract (Betula Platyphylla), complemented by white willow bark extract (Salix Alba) – a natural source of salicin – and bisabolol.
Gentle cleansing is provided by mild washing ingredients (Coco-Glucoside and Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate). Hydration is supported by urea and glycerin, and the formula also includes Lactobacillus ferment and vitamin E (Tocopherol). The water contains fragrance. Betuldiol® is a patented composition of bioactive plant substances developed by the founder of the EPIDERMA brand, MUDr. Jiří Skalický. One of its characteristic ingredients is betulin, a natural substance from birch bark.

The water is suitable for sensitive and problematic acne-prone skin and for all skin types. All EPIDERMA cosmetic products are dermatologically tested.
The water contains fragrance; for very sensitive skin or a known sensitivity to fragrance ingredients we recommend testing on a small area first.

Micellar water is a gentle cleansing product that removes impurities and excess sebum without the need for rinsing. It suits daily cleansing, including sensitive skin.

The water is primarily intended for cleansing the skin and copes with light make-up. For heavier make-up and waterproof mascara we recommend our bioactive micellar cleansing water, followed by a final cleanse with this water.

Use the water at least twice a day as part of the daily care of acne-prone skin. It cleanses gently, removes excess sebum and impurities, and does not dry the skin out.
After cleansing it helps soothe and hydrate the skin. This is cosmetic care suitable for regular use.

The water contains neither retinoids nor salicylic acid and can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding. As with any cosmetic product, we recommend consulting a doctor if in doubt.
