Psoriasis – Soothing bioactive cream for psoriasis
The EPIDERMA® bioactive cream is designed for the care of dry and sensitive skin prone to signs of psoriasis. It contains the original dermatological composition Betuldiol®, which helps soothe the skin and restores its elasticity and suppleness. Urea and salicylic acid soften dry and thickened areas and support the gentle removal of flakes, while nourishing lipids protect the skin from drying out. The cream contains salicylic acid and retinyl palmitate – while using it, therefore, protect the treated areas from intense sun.

How is the bioactive cream for psoriasis used?
It is best to treat the areas first with the EPIDERMA balm for psoriasis. This cream is then applied as a second layer to more pronounced areas. Apply the cream to the skin twice a day or as needed when the skin feels dry and tight. Because the cream contains salicylic acid and retinyl palmitate, which may increase the skin's sensitivity to sunlight, protect the treated areas from intense sun and from sunbeds. Consult your dermatologist about any combination with phototherapy.

The base is the original dermatological composition Betuldiol® with betulin, a natural substance from birch bark.
Hydration and softening are provided by urea, hydroxyethyl urea, glycerin and petrolatum, complemented by sunflower oil. The cream also contains salicylic acid, dimethyl sulfone (MSM), vitamin A (Retinyl Palmitate), vitamin E (Tocopherol), vitamin B5 (Calcium Pantothenate) and 7-dehydrocholesterol. Betuldiol® is a patented composition of bioactive plant substances developed by the founder of the EPIDERMA brand, MUDr. Jiří Skalický. One of its characteristic ingredients is betulin, a natural substance from birch bark.

The cream is intended for dry and sensitive skin prone to signs of psoriasis. Because it contains salicylic acid, we do not recommend it for children under 3 years of age. All EPIDERMA cosmetic products are dermatologically tested.
The cream contains fragrance; for very sensitive skin or a known sensitivity to fragrance ingredients we recommend testing on a small area first.

The cream contains retinyl palmitate (vitamin A) and salicylic acid. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, we recommend consulting your doctor before use.
