Psoriasis – Soothing bioactive balm
The EPIDERMA® bioactive balm with the original Betuldiol® composition is designed for long-term daily care of dry and sensitive skin prone to signs of psoriasis. It soothes irritated skin, helps relieve the feeling of itching and tightness and supports the gentle removal of dry flakes. It hydrates intensively, softens and supports the renewal of the natural protective barrier, making the skin more resilient to external influences.

How is the bioactive balm used?
At least twice a day, or as needed several times a day. Apply over the whole area of dry and irritated skin and massage in gently until fully absorbed.

Apply the balm at least twice a day, or more often as needed, to dry and irritated areas. Apply gently until absorbed. The 300 ml pack has a pump for easy dosing.
For more comprehensive care the balm can be combined with other EPIDERMA products from the range for psoriasis-prone skin.

The balm is intended for regular, long-term daily care. With consistent use morning and evening the skin gradually gains better hydration, suppleness and comfort. The result is individual and depends on the initial condition of the skin.
This is a cosmetic product for the care of psoriasis-prone skin – it does not replace medical care.

The base is the original dermatological composition Betuldiol® with birch extract (Betula Platyphylla).
It is complemented by intensively hydrating and softening ingredients – urea, glycerin, salicylic acid and ammonium lactate – together with vitamins A and E. The balm contains fragrance. You will find the full composition (INCI) on the packaging and in the Composition section on this page.

The balm is intended for dry and sensitive skin. All EPIDERMA cosmetic products are dermatologically tested. Because the balm contains salicylic acid, we do not recommend it for children under 3 years of age.
For older children, very sensitive skin or a known sensitivity to any of the ingredients we recommend testing on a small area first, or consulting a doctor.

The balm contains retinyl palmitate (vitamin A) and salicylic acid. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, we recommend consulting your doctor before use.

The balm can be used as complementary daily cosmetic care alongside care prescribed by a doctor. Apply it separately – let the prescribed product absorb first and only then apply the balm.
Never stop or change prescribed products without consulting your doctor. Cosmetics do not replace them. Consult your dermatologist about the suitability of using them together.
